ROLLS: CUMI’s Paper and Cloth backed rolls find extensive use in cleaning, de-rusting and finishing various types of material. These rolls are manufactured using either Emery, Aluminium oxide or Silicon carbide grains with specially formulated resins and compatible backing suited for optimum performance in wood, leather, plastic, metal and glass industries.

EMERY CLOTH ROLLS: Made with ‘X’ wt cotton cloth, Glue-over-Glue bond and Emery grains. Ideally suited for de-rusting, cleaning and finishing ferrous and non-ferrous metals, these rolls are available in grits ranging from Extra Coarse (G24) to Super Fine (G220). Plain weave cloth rolls are also available for applications that do not require the strength of “X” wt cloth.

Emery Cloth Rolls should be used only for dry applications.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE CLOTH ROLLS: Made with “X” wt cotton cloth, Glue-over-Glue bond and Aluminium Oxide grains, these rolls are used for cleaning and finishing operations. The flexible nature of backing cloth and the special bond system used, makes this product best for finishing crankshafts, machine components, etc. Available in grits ranging from G36 to G400, these Aluminium Oxide Cloth Rolls are used either dry or with neat oils.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN METAL CLOTH ROLLS: Made with “X” wt cotton, using a specially tough and heat resistant Resin-over-Glue bond, with Aluminium oxide grains, this product is ideally suited for light stock removal and for finishing wood, metal etc.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN CLOTH ROLLS: Made with “X” wt Resin-over-Resin bond, with Aluminium Oxide grains, these rolls are capable of withstanding high grinding temperatures and are ideal for heavy stock removal and finishing operations in the Diary Equipment manufacture and in General Engineering industries.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN PAPER ROLLS: Made from specially treated abrasive grains, using strong “E” wt backing paper with a heat resistant bond. The singular design of optimum inter-grain distribution facilitates excellent swarf clearance, best suited for wood working and metal industries.

SILICON CARBIDE PAPER ROLLS: Made with strong “E” wt backing paper and closely graded Silicon Carbide grains, using a unique bond system, these rolls are specially designed for finishing leather. Available in grits ranging from 80 to 800, these rolls are also extensively used for finishing non ferrous metals.
