Zirconia Resin Sander Disc

BLUE SPARK is a dependable, conformable and highly productive Resin Sander Disc which meets the exacting and varied metal working requirements of Automobile, Engineering and Fabrication industries.

Zirconia grain is coated on a tough, durable and flexible vulcanized fiber by a special Electrostatic Coating Technique which ensures perfect grain orientation for high material removal rate and optimum space between grains for effective chip clearance. Specially formulated resin incorporated with grinding aids gives a free and cooler cut - fewer rejects, lesser rework. These features give BLUE SPARK that extra cut ensuring higher performance.

BLUE SPARK is available in G24, G36 & G60.

PRODUCT ENGINEERING

  • Use lower speeds for grinding metals with low thermal conductivity.

  • Use dry lubricant when grinding Aluminium for better life.

  • The condition and type of back-up pad influences the work done and life of disc.

GRINDING METHODS

  • Operate grinder, disc and pad inclined approximately 5" - 10° from work surface.

  • Always ease the disc on to the work.

  • Grind depressions, mouldings, lips and heavy welds with grinder moving away from the work area and not into it.

  • Direct grinding sparks downwards and away from face and body.

  • Always grind in a well ventilated area.

  • Never use disc that overhangs back-up pad by more than 6 mm.

SAFETY

  • Always grind using proper back-up pad

  • Always grind wearing protective gear.

  • Check disc retainer nut for thread wear.

  • Use proper spanner for tightening retainer nut.

  • Never use a disc that is torn or nicked.

  • Avoid usage of another grinding disc as a back-up pad.
